I got the little 2S a few months back and it's basically been a dedicated Ridge Racer Type 4 machine. Really need to get some more stuff loaded onto it. Doesn't help that the Switch now offers so many of the old Nintendo games I'd previously play on emulators.

PS5 pro chat: they are huffing glue at Sony HQ.

I would have got one, if it came with a disc drive and a DS Edge controller (I know that is pushing it, but £700 is a decent chunk of change and it would certainly soften the blow)

If they'd kept it at £500 and bumped the original down to like £400 I'd have considered selling my current one to upgrade but no chance at 700. I wonder if they've sold enough now so are pricing it at cost or slight profit rather than at a loss

Lots of people experiencing random crashing, me included.

So Ubisoft quickly released a hot fix. Didn't fix it for me.
They've now released another patch. Still hasn't fixed it for me and neither has any other fix suggested on any forum I can find about it.

What platform? On PC here and only had two in almost 40 hours.

Despite earlier misgivings I'm enjoying it. For a game with a reasonable amount of focus on stealth, some of the gameplay mechanics and animations are nothing short of atrocious. Easy to understand why that might absolutely ruin it for some people.

If you're simple-minded enough to not get hung up about that stuff, the rest is mostly very decent. In terms of atmosphere it's the most Star Wars-y game in a very long time, and a lot of the level design is outstanding.

I've turned the graphics down quite a bit, but still happening. I have a decent-ish AMD 7700Xt GPU and PC not getting hot. I've turned off cloud backup of achievements and running file as admin.

I'm quite enjoying it otherwise.

I'm still very much enjoying my Retroid Pocket 2S, but I'm not overly familiar with all the options so can't really say where it ranks compared with the competition. What consoles are you aiming for? I was aiming for PS1/DC with this and it's wonderful IMO

Gets a bit annoying after a while but it's a fun way of killing a few minutes. I'm a huge Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands fan as well, BB still works great but Rainbow Islands hasn't weathered so well, difficult to control for some reason. I used to be a total gun at that game on the Atari ST.

Haven't really touched my PS4 this year, was trying to dl gta5 whilst it was on ps plus as my fisc drive is kaput. It never worked until yesterday by which point it's no longer on ps plus. Decided to have a browse through the library and saw rdr2 is there so finally gonna give that a go, should see me through autumn and winter

Trying to play Subnautica on the SD... Its a rather slow burn. Also I've caused my mini sub to implode which saddens me. The next one I will call Titan II in its honour.

PS5 Astro Bot is like a hug. The levels look amazing, and there are lots of nods to other nostalgic PS titles, it's just lovely.

It's all good until you have mild insomnia and the soundtrack for an earworm.

Yesterday completed all the regular levels and lost galaxies. Still have 24 of the little buggers to get and some of the mini levels are absolute bastards.
