I have a new-ish honda civic tourer, and a big dog who doesn't currently like the car. As such, I am doing loads of training to desensitize the idiot to the boot, which means I am opening and closing the car 2 or 3 times a day. Said car had a dead battery last week which needed replacing. I am only just seeing a possible link. Is just unlocking and locking the car so frequently without starting it likely to be causing bad battery drain?
