Bikes on the Øresund train can be a bit of a pain, you haven't missed anything. The smaller of the 2 ferries is quite something on the weekend: they have entertainment and people of a certain age basically use it as a bar, not to actually cross to the other side.
Are you staying in Copenhagen for a bit?

We were on the smaller one, it did have an impressive bar for such a tiny boat. Much nicer experience than the boring big car boat. We're here without bikes, too much time on trains to faff with bikes and my dear partner doesn't care much for riding anyway.
We'll be here till Wednesday. Tuesday morning yoga is actually very close to the Omnium store, should you happen to be around? I'll send you a DM with my number!
I keep mixing them up! I had a short fright when Maps said it would take 4 hours by train but I looked at the wrong one. Both very cute towns. I had planned to cross there anyway because the ferry looked way more exciting and not much slower than the Malmo bridge.
