Do you want a repeater? Reuss make them, I've got the Mk1 Fuzz Repeater and love it. Not sure what version he has for sale now. The fuzz is a bit meh but the repeater is great.

Just did the Peter Green mod on my Epi.
It worked!
Sounds great.

The mod is that the pickup's rotated? That's a super cool looking guitar.

Thanks! So I did a bit of googling and it’s not the rotation of the pickup, but rather the magnet inside the pickup you take it out and flip the polarity by turning it 180 degrees re-insert. I had to remove the cover which was bit of pain and wax potting was nuts. So much wax in there…
In middle position it now has a really cool range of tones by adjusting the two volume controls independently. I also need to put a treble bleed circuit into the neck pickup but explorer cavity is tiny so a bit of a mare.

If my Epiphone Classic post got anyone looking for one, I present you one with a Bigsby 😍

Elvers reunion featured a lot of Epi Riviera through an AC30, bull fiddle, accordion, electric piano and giggling.

And yes, well spotted HMHB fans, that is a Dukla Prague away kit.

I've just discovered a few Yamaha SG2000s on there and now I'm torn. Have wanted one of those for years and they're stupidly expensive here.
-
• #15168
I'm surprised they've gone up in value so much over here as well. Used to be a sub-$1000 guitar, all going for $2.5k now it seems.
How much are they there?
-
• #15169
Cheapest I've seen on eBay (and that's from Japan) is £1200ish. Usually looking at £1500+ if they're in the UK.

Now I'm going to be spending the rest of the day on Doorzo...

You're welcome! 💸
Holler on here if you find something you like, I used an Australian fella living in Japan as my middle man, he was faultless and very reasonably priced. He normally does car parts but I don't see why he couldn't send a guitar.

Ah right. Will they only ship domestically? Good to know.

NPD - Mike rivers clone of a tonebender. Seemingly unlimited sustain, super snorkelly, not wildly velcro-y, I’m enjoying it

Yeah, there are quite a few barriers, language and people not wanting to deal with overseas payment/shipping. I've bought a few things through proxy bidders in the past, and they've varied in price wildly, Jesse Streeter was by far the cheapest.
Finally got one ...
