Look you don't have to fit xvs, if anything don't as modern tread patterns are better.
Exhaust, let's look at the shapes, if it can be made from parts.
The suspension and brakes need a lhm refresh at the least, hydracage at the worst. Then spheres, pleadies have that sorted and changing is easy. The suspension units can they be rebuilt? The hydraulic pipes tho steel can be remade and Sykes picavant make the ends moulding.
Do these need an octopus pipe like the bx, as I can't remember. Tho did repair rubber pipes with joints and clips as they are low pressure.
Major service is something you are going to do anyway in a new to you car.
You are talking yourself out of this. Will you be doing the work or paying someone?
At least there isn't and welding.
Am now thinking twice. Car needs full exhaust system £1k for stainless and at least a few hundred for steel. 5 new Michelin xvs tyres= £750 , probably major service and lots of extras (split pipes etc) say £500 . Transport £300 - at least £2.5k then the purchase price on top…. Not really looking viable the more I think about it 🤔
