Ha! Yes! I even have one knocking around, I will give this a try...

Edit: the flute is threaded so very fiddly to get mounted. Also not sure if the flute should be weight bearing

So just fiddle a bit till you get it.
I wouldnt worry too much about load bearing, most force will be downwards so on the brake mounts.

Looks up to that job to me.

Bit of a tortuous load path for that upper mount, but I reckon kjelm is right about it not having a whole lot to do.
