For this road bike I am building myself I want all wires and hoses to be internal. That sort of requires a t47 BB. But then today I decided that it's wrong on an all steel 1 1/8" head tubed road bike. And a OD38mm BB shelll basically weighs nothing at all. So instead of having the rear brake cable hose go through the BB I have decided to let the hose exit through the end of the down tube under the BB. I am using this massive 51mm oval tube and it allows for it.
The Di2 cables will run through the BB shell.
Uhhh and I have made some new friends that does chroming and nickelplating. And it's not nearly as expensive as I thought so I think I might do a crazy nickel finish on the frame instead of a paint job. I will do some tests first though. But I showed the plating people a Zoom lightweight seat post and they reckon we can achieve something similar
