  • Pretty much half the city.

    (Other half working for them)

  • You’re right, white gold case and clasp, feels very different than steel

I’ve never been into Daytona (it’s was the first time I tried one) but that specific version have always been appealing..

True, this cut is good, but also that dial variation (with the indexes referring to minute instead of hour) is nice looking and unusual..

Sodalite Daytona more often came with diamonds indexes..

Overall those makes it a rare bird, way out of budget unfortunately (50k +) but at least I can dream a little bit

  • Happy friday everyone.

  • Amplitude reads low on the Weishi but it’s keeping ‘good’ (+/-15s) time the past couple of days so it has stayed on the wrist.

  • Non quickset, is it an 80’s/90’s one? I do like the day/date execution on these but I’m biased, mine is ‘69 and a jumbo/38mm, just got a solid link Rolex 78360 bracelet for it, I still have the original folded link jingly jangly one it came on. I’ve worn it loads over the 10 years I’ve had it, still keeping good time and looking sharp imho. Happy Friday!

  • Any tips for a sub £400 diver 34mm or smaller? Should be an actual diver so 300m would be ideal.

  • That’s cool. The one above looks modern - I don’t think these bracelets were available in the past. I used to have the steel version, amazing how they managed to make a modern watch feel somehow vintage. Great watches.

  • You’re not asking much, are you…

  • Recent pickup. Needs a service as doesn’t keep the power reserve, but it’s a full set from 1964. Incredible condition. Have a great weekend everyone 👍

  • New @ £400?

    Something Citizen, Seiko, or Casio?

  • Looks similar to this albeit mine is 'slightly' worn

  • Somehow I feel like I can’t get any better than this, then again everything is much more expensive and my wages now feel like being back in my early 20’s again.

Most comfortable watch ever in my life.

  • I love the second hand so much, it’s so subtle without a window.

  • I am below the surface- kind of appropriate?
