Noice. Drove up there with my grandad to look at the big windmills many moons ago. Obviously pretty exposed, did you have a calm day?

I really shouldn't have my hose dangling down by the front wheel like that

Yeah it was amazing weather we got so lucky. Good call from the organisers got a lovely sunset and view over the city and over the Arran with the harvest moon. Photos from those far more talented than I.

yeah it’s certainly not ugly! Also nice to see a ti bike that’s - idk what you call it - like smooth, hydro formed aero shapes. I don’t think I’ve seen one that’s not just classic tube shapes before (no one shoot me)

I don't like the term, but a shoe that's not road or off road specific is good thing in my mind.
I often find I wished there was a middle shoe. Road ones usually very slick, and most off roads are quite knobbly, and I end up occasionally wishing I had a middle ground when you want to do a 50/50 run on gravel paths and road, but the gravel can be muddy and slippy, but off road shoes wear out so fast if you use them on tarmac.

Brilliant stuff

Totally, but I think just like in cycling 'endurance' style shoes with meaty soles and thick rubber are very good at that middle ground. My Asics GT2000s were great at those, non-technical off-road as well as long, easy runs on road. The Marathon Mondial of the shoe world.
Just like in cycling, though, they were also quite slow and wafty so I suppose these Salomons are the Specialized Crux of running shoes? Idk.

Back end looks straight off a CAAD13....would be very happy if CAAD14 followed something along these lines

Sunday morning's glorious gravel on Salisbury Plain...had done some of this on KAW last year, but hard to get bored of the endless Strade Bianche like views
Great group ride by Glasgrav at Whitelee wind farm. Apparently close to 200km of tracks for turbine access. Great fun, although a double pinch flat while descending in the dark will see me popping up on the tubeless thread and looking for tyre recs
