No one tells you this in advance, but you need an entire dog walking wardrobe when you get a dog, especially for winter.

Yeah already bought a new down jacket and will probably get a couple more coats, also thinking waterproof trousers might be an essential too…?

Definitely. For all the talk of the other half and kids walking the dog before we got him, if it's raining then he's only getting a walk if I take him out.
