There’s a couple on reverb at the moment. Turns out buying mine 20yrs ago was a good investment, mines a little more rough around the edges than the top price ones. Shame I don’t have the original case.

TS that Jag is sweet. And man I love the Swinger. It is just bonkers cool.

Been playing some acoustic in drop d lately and have come up with a new song I'm keen to record before it goes stale. Having and Elvers reunion next weekend at my mate's new studio. If I manage to scribble down some lyrics this week there's half a chance of recording a rough live take I guess.

I love drop tunings on acoustic, more so than on electric! Also keen to hear the new stuff that might come from the session, loved the last song you posted.
In other news I have a follow up to my GASing for an SG Classic... I thought I'd walk to Denmark st on my lunch break and stumbled upon a second hand one in Wunjo's, worn red, £280... Tried it... Loved it... Bought it. Can't wait to get it home this evening and have a proper go on it!

Nice, grats!

Love the feel of it! Pickups are way hotter than my Jazzmaster's but also set very high, might take them down a touch and see how that changes things in terms of general tone.
And of course, pic so it did happen...!

Lovely stuff. I'm increasingly drawn to SGs, that's exactly the perfect colour and configuration for one.
Edit: I like the fully bound fretboard also - I don't know if they're all like that, but that seems like a great detail for the price.

Likewise, always liked SGs to be fair, but really been looking at them more and more and always knew HBs don't do much for me and P90s were the way to go. I like my SGs translucent red and with the full batwing pickguard rather than the smaller 61 style, and I fell in love with sating finished when I tried an Ibanez of all things with that kind of finish when I was 15/16 - not a great guitar per se but felt so nice in the hands.
So when I walked into Wunjo's today and they told me it had come in at the end of the day yesterday and offered me a few quid off I could not resist, it felt like it had to be!
Binding is really lovely and well made and I really like the newer style headstock too. Old school jr/special style tuning pegs are a lovely touch too and they're actually super accurate to tune, feels like the turn ratio is lower than usual which makes for easy fine adjustment.

Looks brilliant, especially for the money.
P90s are hotter than regular single coils (and much hotter than JM pickups in particular) but they are very adjustable, you can take them down quite a bit if you want (and of course adjust individual pole pieces).

2007 Guitar of the Week SG Jazz is pretty much top of my wishlist (or at least moderately affordable wishlist) at the moment.

They had a really nice Guyatone Mosrite copy, think for 600-odd - those are crazy good guitars for the price and a couple of friends have them, even played one for a gig a few years back. I sure did give that some thought too!

Gibson MOD series looks fun.
Pricey fun, but interesting stuff nonetheless.
I went to Gibson garage the other day to play the Greenie model. Was lovely, but not a fan of satin finishes.

Model T
Speaking of which, I'm slowly getting there. Last things left are wiring input jacks and heaters (which is a bit of a pain), and then double checking everything before powering up. I'm not 100% happy with all of my handiwork, but I try to fight the urge to redo stuff.

Lol that's amazing. I've never played a Sunn but I did have a Matamp for a while, one of the loudest things I've ever played.
Incidentally I'm in the market for some reverbs/delays - anything Earthquaker, Walrus, OBNE, etc. If anyone's selling, let me know.

I would like to try one but a bit scared I'd love it a bit too much, how was it as a guitar? Did you play the Green Manalishi on it and if not, why not? 😋

Great guitar, but it just made me want to flip the magnet in my pickups. Or get the Peter Green modded pickups.
Gibson are producing good quality instruments under new CEO imho. I wouln't pay GG RRP tho...
Like this from the MOd series o_O

That's actually very nice. I do love a trapeze bridge.

There's a lovely Tokai Love Rock in cherry sunburst on that Ishibashi site @RonAsheton shared a week or so ago. I've been coveting a lawsuit Les Paul for a while.

Do. It. I love that site, very dangerous. Coincidentally, this week I bought an SKB case for the 335 I got from there.
