  • Not pictured: NDS side of fork, opposite where you see 'CARBON' in yellow on DS, it has 'FLAT MOUNT' printed. It's a feature, not a bug. The kind of quirk you can only get with a bougie rider-owned performance and urban bike brand, Big Carbon would never give you that joy for free.

  • Looking forward to this!!

  • I do love a Standert.

  • Actually overjoyed I can live out my direct mount fantasies through you

  • The dropouts are a bit agricultural but otherwise very super nice and racy geometry

  • Much love for the Standert, hope to come through with some progress by middle of next week 🤞🏼

  • This bike doesn’t really scream “party pace” to be honest

  • Will fitting these get me closer?

  • enjoying updates

    needs latex tubes

  • these were already £6 each, I cannot in good conscience spend more than that on tubes. I will suffer through the subdued road feel.

  • if I dont see bouji tyres on this (S works turbo cotton) I'd be disappointed

  • real brain move is veloflex master + latex tubes

  • Panaracer Agilest, they're nice!

  • needs a fiddythree dog on the front im afraid

  • Bad photos in terrible light of the newest member of the uncut steerer club. Stem is too chonk and doesn't work IMO, S-Works SL Stem would look better.

    7.92kg as is.

  • Man, you have some beautiful bikes, and this one's no exception!

  • Thank you :) Hopefully if the weather is kind I'll get to ride it a bit over the next few weeks 🤞🏼

  • nice bike, would slam and ride. what are the rims ?

  • Wheelsfar Feder 45, 19mm internal, 26mm external. They're nice but would prefer a grooved brake track. Angle makes the bar position look worse than it is, but yeah I'll play around with it. Same with steerer, definitely won't get slammed but I'll probably settle at around 20-25mm under stem. See how I get on after riding it for a bit.

  • maybe a headset bearing cover would ease the transition to the long neck steerer. i really like the posh carbon stem but it doesn't work well with the black gloss. if you're into minute details of course.

this sort of elegant steerer spacing does work.

  • I totally agree, stem doesn't work and and given how much time I ordinarily spend staring at/chewing my stem, it's more than a minute detail!

I have a 120mm S-Works SL stem (10mm longer than the chonk Zipp that's on) which is meant for the Vig, but I'll try that out over the next few weeks. Good shout on the bearing cover.

  • Seriously sick bike.

Idk if this is the right stem length but thought I'd share https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/399419/#comment17519792

  • Cheers. Yes, I saw that stem earlier. I have exactly the same one (120mm) destined for another bike, here ideally I'd need a 110mm.
