For Sale - Specialized Tricross (Rim Brake / 56cm / Black & Brown)
I previously had this up for sale and decided to keep and ride it a while longer, but the time has come to move this along (at a discounted price versus the last time). It has been cleaned and just needs a couple of bits including, chain needs lubing, new brake pads as the current ones are worn and split on the front, and maybe an inner tube extension valve to make a little easier with some track pumps.
Bike was stripped down and rebuilt to a spec I really fancied for commuting. I knocked out the old Specialized MindSET headset and it's been replaced with a Crane Creek (40 Series Int. 1 1/8" 41mm Short) set.
The stem and bars were swapped for some Genesis branded bits, the bars are wide and a little flared.
I can't remember what the brifters are, probably old Shimano 105 10 speed. It's got a Shimano 105 10 speed rear derailleur with a Wolf Tooth Road Link to run a wide rear cassette. From memory it's an 11-40. I had to bend the hanger a little to get it to shift really well.
SRAM Apex GXP 1x Crankset 42T (11 speed, but works well on this stuff). RSP band on chain catcher.
28mm Pirelli P Zero Race TLR on front, and a 32mm on the rear (Specialized Armadillo I think). Both are setup with tubes. I replaced the front wheel with a DT Swiss RR 511 (tubeless ready), but the rear is the original AlexRims ACE-19.
SKS Mud Guards which do a fantastic job.
Giant Contact saddle.
SRAM BSA GXP BB
The non-drive side of the down tube has some marks on the paint, this has gone down to metal in a couple of the very small areas. I've pictured this below as well. If you'd like more photos of this, let me know.
Asking Price - £225
Preferred pickup/collection from Southampton area. If shipping is required, happy to ship via Paisley Freight at cost to the buyer.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
