• some things I lost and some things I discovered I need on a recent tour.
my shoes are borked I’m a 13/12.5 WIDE fancy ‘disco slippers’ and goretex winter boots appreciated.
My lightweight down jacket bounced off the back of my bag (roughly L must pack small)
my very neat rear dynamo light isn’t bright enough.
My amazon brand bike packing frame bag is not waterproof and is crazy annoying for not reaching across my 58cm top tube.
I want to change to mtb for gravel and need a dynamo front wheel (shimano or whatever but needs to be tubeless 29er)
My running cap (which i wear under my helmet often)got blown off my bars in high winds.
Probably need posting (tour was Amsterdam to Barca)

  • that frame bag is free to anyone that wants it

  • I might still have some giro 48eu. All Velcro model gravel/ mtb. You could have for beers/ coffee if you’d like

  • dm’d

  • I have a pair of brand new fizik vento ferox carbon, size 48, the lilac colour.
They were too big for me and I missed the return date. Think they’re still around £275-£300 everywhere. Would be happy to take half that if you’re interested

  • I would class them as fancy disco slippers for sure. That’s what drew me to them in the first place

  • oof those are so fancy! but I am 99% sure these will be too narrow for my wide dogs

  • I might have some MTB shoes I bought from the States but haven't used for some time. I will check after work if you are interested? I stopped MTB so no longer needed....
    If I can find them?

  • yes please! thank you!

  • if you can collect from SE6 I have a supernova rear light you can have a for a tenner, cable is a little short

  • Yes, I would like that. I'll dm, eventually, busch and muller 'Mu' is what I have, I don't think it is adequate but it got great reviews ?

  • Not to hijack @tmevans thread, but I'm also on the look out for some winter gravel/MTB boots if anyone's got anything? Sadly, just like tmevans, Fiziks don't fit my feet, we've been down that road before haha.

  • I bought some of the basic shimano winter boots. had i the presence of mind I would have offered for you to come over and try them on before i sent them back. They were too narrow, maybe fractionally less narrow than i remember non wide shimano shoes but not wide enough to feel worth it. i think i am going to concentrate by efforts on nice new wide xc shoes and relegate my current spds to spending the rest of their days wrapped in smelly neoprene overshoes.
