Bayern next for Villa right? Looking forward to it
-
• #171428
yeah, at Villa Park. Should hopefully be a great game

Yeah - that's going to be a huge night.
Everton losing again and Preston knocking out Fulham 16-15 on pens is a fun league Cup night.

Ancelotti slowly bringing on Endrick. The kid has played 20 minutes and bagged two goals already. Ridiculous.

Talking of Brazilian wonder kids I'm really excited to see Estêvão play for Chelsea. Kid is 17 and he could finish as top scorer in Brazil now Pedro is out of the rest of the season.

The most goals Fulham have ever scored in an away game and still lose - So Fulhamish

That's sad. I know everyone gets old and dies, but him running around after smacking in that goal (googles) against Uruguay is a favourite.

Toto nooo. Very sad. First memories of a world cup was 1990. Loved it!
Was always a guaranteed pub quiz point (years after) when they asked the who got the golden boot for that year.
Even completed the panini sticker folder -

Show me a more out of form player than Martinelli. Couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo right now.

A very big cow.

There isn't one. His overall game is pretty good though. He's like the reverse haaland.

It's 20 years since Brian Clough passed away, this is a really beautiful piece on The Athletic by Daniel Taylor.

It was Stoke 1 Hull 1. Hull forward lightly collided with Stoke’s huge bearded goal keeper. He went down ‘requiring’ treatment which was followed by some of the worst ‘acting’ I have ever seen. Literally no way he was in pain at all.
He eventually kicks off. Hull score 20 seconds later and then again through an own goal that squirmed through said ‘keeper 2 minutes after that.

West Ham having a tough start to the season but we looked not terrible. Enjoyed that game. Jackson was sharp, Palmer was quiet but turned it on when he needed to, Sancho had some good moments, Enzo and Caicedo looked good together finally, Cucurella was solid as was Toisin in defence. Who have I left out? We played well.

Yup the hapless Hammers were lucky to get nil.
A great performance. I'm back at the bridge twice next week for Barrow and then Brighton so hoping it continues.
damn, safe to say Bayern Munich have been busy... 9-2, with 2 disallowed goals as well apparently
