  • I forget I have this bike as it generally lives in the box.

seeing as summers on the way, apparently and we’ve got some trips planned I through I’d better check on it, everything looked ok, chain needs rewaxing. The only foreign trip we have planned is Florida, going to take the bike, even if I just end up riding round the gated community we’re staying in.

  • Nice - got any photos of it assembled?

  • Gosh, I so want one!

  • Does anyone have any info of Dahon branded ones? Allegro is the model name I think?

  • I really need to rake more pictures of my bikes

  • Sadly it's too big for me, but there's a Breakaway on Ebay at the moment.

  • All those different colours work really well together. A very nice looking bike!

  • clearance for 40c tires without a fender — or 36 with a fender

  • so an overpriced CDF?

  • The angles are rather similar indeed. Different BB-drop number though.
But when you have to choose between those two I would say: 'that is easy ..'

  • €1,713.20 is too insane imo

  • I've really been wanting a breakaway but the prices are too crazy, especially in Australia

  • I took my Ritchey up to Herefordshire for a family holiday. I was planning on taking a “normal” bike but had forgotten how much room they take up. The breakaway unbox in the boot fitted in a tiny space.

I didn’t get to ride as much as I was hoping, but did get the chance to do gospel pass which was great.

  • For the smaller folk who might want a breakaway, I’ve got mine for sale here:

I’d prefer to keep it really…

  • Just ordered one!

  • Ohh exciting! What are the build plans?

  • Do they offer an alternative colour matched thinner steel fork when you order?

Frame looks really really nice, but this looks a bit wrong to me. Maybe it's just a bad photo.

  • Nothing too exotic, very similar to the promo pictures. Probably Giles Berthoud mudguards
and Middleburn cranks for a bit of silver.

  • No, I don't think they even do steel forks for the Road Logic.

  • You have to get the Bishop that was the inspiration for the Montebello.

  • Looks better here but a fatter head tube or external headset might have been better looking

Has this not been mentioned yet? Can't wait to see what these will be trading hands for in a few years.
