looks very good.
-
• #15932
wait, they are sizes??
Edit: ok, the frame is the same.

• #15933
The stems are different - the reach and height varies, plus the seatposts go from standard, extended and telescopic depending on size.
-
• #15934
Does look a little big...

Our C2W scheme election is open. Very tempted by the forest green one.

It does look very good,
wait, they are sizes??
They are clearly opting for the 'go anywhere' for 'everyone' bike, and the commentary says 'most versatile bike in the world'
I'm fascinated to see how it rides, but the weight (13.9-14.8kg for non electrical versions) has to limit the versatility

will put them towards the deposit
bikefriday slightly cheaper still ..

Will Ikea release a larger Dimpa bag?

This is a lot of money to reduce UK train anxiety

TAKE MY MONEY

20” wheels probably means it won’t fit in the luggage rack of many trains, at least down south… :( It’s a struggle as is with a standard 16” wheeled Brompton and non extending seatpost on GWR trains
Ben at Kinetics has a couple of interesting posts comparing his models with the new G line for those wanting sizes and comparisons https://www.instagram.com/ben_kinetics

Brilliant bikes have also reviewed it, less bombastic, but they also review the electric version

Budget version.... https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/tilt-120-folding-bike-grey/_/R-p-120068?mc=8500543&c=blue%20grey. Ditch the mudguards and upgrade the tyres and save more than two grand
-
• #15945
that has disgusting rim brakes?!
-
• #15946
does look cool tbf. i can imagine very 'casual' cyclists being keen on it for portability/hideability.... but then not all 'casual' cyclists would drop £2.5k...
...and that is where cyclescheme comes in

Roughly £900 off for me using their website calcs. Very tempting.

The riding position/ geo on those Decathlon bikes is terrible unfortunately
-

saw one IRL in covent garden store this am, it is quite chunky. i don't see it as a compact commuter but for travel touring for those with limited store space

Is the G line the new Home Counties Prommuter? Absolutely RAZ 900 yards of sick Sustrans provincial gravel “national cycle route” from your 5 bed Victorian detached villa, to hop on your train to Marylebone?
commuter, or in your case,
class or chill
