Dredge for a Greenway closure that supposedly will last until 2026. It's only a short section but requires a lengthy detour to get around it.
Cyclists are diverted via Abbey Lane, Abbey Road and Manor Road, with the route requiring riders to make a difficult right turn across traffic just after Abbey Road DLR station.
NB there are three right turns (from Canning Road into Abbey Road and into and out of Leywick Street), and they are obviously only required for eastbound riders. Still, not exactly ideal.
