Asking as thought some of my Fulvia internet friends were there.
Was there a red E reg Lancia Fulvia with a yellow rear panel and round rear lights? If so, was the bonnet up? As the owner has converted the car to mechanical fuel injection. It is interesting IMO...

He has been in the past and chatted to him as I didn't recognise who he was.

Didn't see one fitting that description, only Fulvia I can remember was just red all over

that's really nice.
is it a legit cross sport?
I still really like mine, even though it's a bog standard 2.0 non turbo.

Yeah the most common colour painted and repainted too much to my chagrin.
Will try and get a link to a picture of the engine.
EDIT yes the car was there, number 351. Did you see the black Fulvia Zagato.

As there was that much Subaru chat, liked this one I saw yesterday. Normally all black is not my thing, but worked with the somehow baroque car:

I spied this one at a national trust in Norfolk over the summer.
not sure if it's a genuine McRae car or a replica / tribute although I'm guessing the latter.:edit: after a quick Google, McRae died the same month this car was registered so I guess that answers the question!
apologies to any hardcore rally fans!

The best Subaru have twin turbos.

That's so smart looking! I feel like white wheels would suit it...

I thought all the WRC Subarus were 22Bs, is that a real team car?
-

thanks. won't be getting wheels any time soon. I really need a new exhaust from the headers back before the next MOT, and possibly front shocks as well.
@RonAsheton
no idea, I had a quick search for it but couldn't find anything conclusive. I don't know a lot about rally cars. -

The 22B was built after the rally cars. They're road cars with a few extra bits.

Can recommend Tein Street Basis Z coilovers as a great replacement for the stock suspension without costing a fortune (they reuse they stock top mounts).

No you need to stop it.

Thanks for that, I wasn't sure of the chronology. So all the rally cars were four doors? That isn't very sporty!!

That's excellent and reminds me of Dunlop Groundhogs from the 70s.

Can anyone suggest a detailer/upholstery person who could sort out these seats?
Interested in a car but the seats are in a bit of a state and what to know if it's repairable (and economical).
Had a look on ebay/breakers sites and can't find replacements.
Any suggestions near East London would be ideal.

Nevermind, just got quoted £1800 for fully comp (with 14 years no claims).
Back to shitboxes I go!

Well they are no landsail.
Are the EU tyre ratings a good guide to compare?

Wonder how that handles, is the cornering improved?

Impreza was 4 door from 1993-1996, then they brought in the 2 door coupe with the rule change in 1997 until 2001 when it was replaced with the Bug eye.

For example:
Also note how Subaru WRC cars have been about 5 different colours

Didn't see him 😁. I've seen some of his cars there in previous years. His mansion is only a mile or so away.
