- American Classic 420 Aero tack wheels (clincher)
These have been used, but are in good nick - plenty of rim life and they run smoothly and straight. These are one of the lightest track/fixie wheelsets around (at approx. 1,600g for the set!) and they come with a Miche sprocket carrier and 16t cog (as well as the tyres/tubes - well used so mainly there to protect the rims).
Some details (& a review - https://bikesareshit.wordpress.com/2015/02/16/american-classic-420-aero-track-review/):
Features: Sprint on the track or ride fixed gear on the street on one set of wheels. They are light, fast, responsive and accelerate quickly. Strong track quality 3/8” × 24 Tpi bolts work with an easy to use 8mm allen key socket head. Because track wheels are repeatedly taken on and off the bike, the threads are steel on steel for long life. End cap contact points are large diameter serrated steel to keep the wheel from slipping. High hub flanges maximize wheel stiffness which makes bike hand- ling easier at high speeds.

- Planet X track wheelset with Dugast cotton tubulars
Bought on a whim and no longer needed, these are very nice wheels with lots of life left in them (and the tyres are quite new). They run really smooth and straight and the tyres are a thing of wonder, at least if you are used to gatorskins and the like ;-). I can imagine that they are the business on the track - I used them for one commute and even on London roads they felt great (at least on the smooth bits!). I put some sealant in to give some piece of mind but I had to admit that they were a luxury purchase and not suitable for commuting duties!
I couldn't find too much info on the web, but they are double fixed at the rear and come with a 17t cog (I think - will check!) and lockring (& the tyres of course).Only asking £50!

American classics gone, so only the carbon tubulars left!
Big autumn clear-out of the shed (to make room for more stuff no doubt!). I have three wheelsets up for grabs (collection from SW4 evenings/weekends & possibly during the day on Fridays!), as follows:
Don't have too much information on these, but they are almost unused - I only used the front one for a couple of short rides (to test it out) and the rear appears unused (there are no marks on the freehub). The Vittoria tyres are likewise in vv good condition and I put a little sealant in there for some extra puncture mitigation (I won't say proofing ;-) ). Very light at around 1,250g for the pair (I can weight them with the tyres if interested).
Looking for £150 including the tyres (let me know if this is out, but the tyres themselves retail at around £75 each new!)
