2 under this morning. Seems like a straightforward one

• #403
2 under today too
-
• #404
I tried to do it in my head over breakfast but had a word wrong from the clue. Went back and got it immediately

• #405
Too easy, few seconds first guess.

• #406
Today's was a bit straightforward too

Just done quick the in the Guardian for the first time without revealing any letters/words.

2 over. Fuckers

Par this morning

I felt the double use of a word in the clue was a bit dubious?
-
• #420
Feel like these are all pitching at pretty much the same difficulty level, and they're going to need to start introducing some more difficult ones if it's going to continue to be engaging / useful as a learning tool.

Favourite from yesterday's Guardian cryptic:
Type of green salad (5)
Click for answer.
Genre. Definition = Type. Green = word to be anagrammed. Salad = anagram indicator -

Took a look at yesterdays, definitely seems a level up from the quick cryptic
-
• #423
What was it?
-
• #424
Hah, good point - I put a 'click for answer thingy' in the original post so as to not leave anyone hanging.

Difficulty seems to scale across the week. Monday and Tuesday I am in with a chance of getting maybe 50% - 75% (although often I am able to ID the definition and then get the answer using the letters I already have on the grid and am only able to make sense of the rest of the clue after the fact, and sometimes not even then). Weds onwards and I'm pretty much shit out of luck.
1 over. Meh
