Yeah, you'd need bigger rims to make it work lower to the ground. It looks tough like this with those huge balloons for tyres, I like it. For now. 🤣

Fyi my outback is the 3.0 and I don't find the brakes lacking. I think a refresh and you should be good. I don't drive it at 10/10 but I can stand on them and it stops.

Makes me laugh when people have v powerful cars that they rev the hell out of to attract attention then go over speed bumps about 1mph because the car is so low.

They look great lifted. But according to my mechanic you have to correct the geometry and get different/longer drive shafts so you're not chewing up cv joints. Think there's some magic Subaru Lego formula to make it all work.

Hydraulics are the future ;)

Always fancied a go in the red fluid suspension vehicles as they are supposed to be the smoothest ds/id

Same with lowering, you are supposed to adjust the geometry.

I'm sure! When I was looking into lowering this one with stock WRX struts/suspension it seemed like a total minefield best avoided by springing for BC coilovers.

@Dammit I'm not sure all cars look better lowered.

Counterpoint: No car looks good lowered.

Just remembered that my local independent Subaru specialist did warn me that a Forester lowered to standard WRX height cures all body roll and drives super well, any lower and it all goes to shit.
