11 speed Campagnolo compatibility with eTap.

  • I currently have a full 11 speed chorus groupset, and I'd like to try 11 speed etap.

In my head, the only things I need to change will be rear mech, front mech and levers to etap?

Will Sram levers be OK with campag calipers? And I'm guessing etap mechs will be fine with 11 speed campag chainrings, chain and cassette?

  • Not sure about the brakes (rim?) but the drivetrain will be fine

  • I have 11sp Etap levers and derailleurs on my Moulton with Campag cassette, Shimano chain and brake calipers and TA chainrings. It works fine.

  • The brakes will work well enough. You won't have a way to release them because with Campag this is at the lever, while Sram and Shimano do this at the caliper. If you're running wider tyres, or very tight brakes it might mean you have to undo the cable (or deflate the tyres) to change wheels.

Do you have the etap? 11s is quite scarce nowadays.
