You know what that is a really good idea!

Less rad colour scheme. But now I've lost the matching bars it's radicalism is on a downwards spiral.

Tried out the weeride.
The biggest issue is getting my leg over the narrow gap between the back seat and the saddle. I changed into tracksuit bottoms, flipped the seatpost around to move the saddle forward, and lowered it.
Now it works but the saddle height is shit.
Kids loved it.
But it makes me want another bike. But also makes me worry about getting another bike for the same reasons. Having no idea how they work, I wonder if a dropper post would help?

As you can see it's not the most elegant solution.
Hilariously my long stem to get the bars forward, is actually too tall and slightly interfers with the weeride headrest.

If you have x2 kids, and the world is relatively flat and traffic friendly, have you considered a trailer? And a moto hub/mid drive?

Alternatively, from looking at that picture, get one of those weird forks that let you use a small wheel on a 700c frame and chuck the smallest on the front.

Round here is much more car friendly than bike friendly, so I spend most of my time on dirt trails and parks.
Also I doubt that it would get approved by OH.

In our house, I made sure the kids enjoyed the thing I bought first. Making it "difficult" for a counter decision.
But, car friendly and a trailer was what stopped me from doing it with my two. And South London hills.

Yeah. My memory of picking up that changing table was that it was all insain hills.
Thanks BTW its now being used for child #2. But hopefully not for too much longer.

You know what, one of those front seats that attaches to the headset/head tube with no support plus a girls frame would be the way to go.
My OH has a lovely classic Dawes galaxy mixtie. Maybe I should fix that

Any chance you could do me a favour and post some pics of the seatpost Clamp and the length of the QR bolt?

Hey! I got the same bike, but I was wondering if you know the seatpost diameter size. Would help me a lot!

Sorry I missed this. I'll measure and post for posterity.
Not much of an update. But the weeride has been passed on and child No2 in on the back seat with my eldest mainly scootering. It's so much nicer not having to juggle two seats.
Waiting for a new saddle and finally got around to putting sacredhart's kindly donated fasttracks. Although clearance on the rear is tight so I've had to dish the wheel slightly to the left. Need to dig out the tensionometer as I think it might be a bit loose overall. Before:
After:
I'm wondering if there's a way to lightly and neatly dimple the seat stay? Also debating whether to take a the rear CR720 off my single speed for the front of this to add some more clearance, or just grab a black tekro v brake and a problem solver. :
Currently enjoying it, but do need gaurds and trying to work out what will fit. However, I'm always conscious about spending too much on it, as I'd much rather have something with discs >8 speed and more up to date standards. Also keeping an eye out for a a deal on a Follow-me for when my eldest can ride properly.

Isn't the normal way of dealing with this is to cut back the offending nobs on the tyre?
-

Fit razor blades inside the fork. Do it while riding. John Blaine would.

No idea. But that makes sense.
I have bonsai flush cutters that would do a neat job.
My other thought was double sided taping some 40 grit sanding pads to the inside of the stays. Maybe if I double them up I'd get 4mm? Would hopefully just be a case of rotating the pedals.
Just buy a larger one
