If you're happy to go friction, which is better for bar end shifters in my experience, then you can use the relevant Microshift ones which are cheap. Or splash out for the Uno which is the best bar end shifter I've ever used. (Although if it's not a big cassette, you can prob get away with Silver Shifters which are essentially the same).
I've got a Trek 920 which was originally specced with SRAM 500 TT, bar end control, 10 speed shifters with the rear derailleur changed from the original SRAM X7, Type 2 to a SRAM X5 rear derailleur with a ten speed cassette. Complicating things a bit are the fact that I've now got a Shimano derailleur on the front with a triple although figure this in its current form is never going to be index shifting.
The shifters are at their end of life and I'm looking for the most affordable way to keep the bike running (well). Shifters need changing and would change derailleurs if required. Keen to hear any suggests to keep this old faithful on the road.
