A friend is doing a reissue of Shinichiro Yokota albums which were previously Japanese only releases.
It’s always great when someone introduces me to an artist or genre that excites or interests me. The Yokota tracks are HOUSE in all its classic forms, echoes of Larry Heard, NY 90s deepness, Underground Resistance house tracks etc. Am currently pretending to be doing household chores but keep breaking out into dad dancing with this on in the background.
