A young cyclist has been killed in collision with a HGV in west London, emergency services have confirmed.

The incident happened around 9.30am on Wednesday in Staines Road, Feltham, at the junction with Green Lane.

The name of the cyclist is not yet known. Police believe he was in his twenties.

One report suggested the man was trapped under the lorry.
