so I think I made myself accidentally a little OP so gonna tweak the settings. That said, the mod allows you to configure a lot of things, from god mode, right down to just individual setting of stats (or % instead).
even with being a bit OP, the boss battles I've still had to learn the skills and what's going on. Instead of dieing 10+ times though, I tend to die 2-3 times now.
The downside is the open world bit becomes very easy (like 1 hit kills). You can use the Windows Overlay or hotkeys to enable/disable on the fly I'm just lazy. Becareful with the windows overlay, many multiplayer games will pick up on it and close out. I had to remove it even though the cheat engine itself was not running.
note: wemod does charge, but the free version can be used for 2 hours a day. I figured it was worth it since it also had mods to prey (bit broken) so I could finish that game too

AAA games keep coming

Yeah turns out it's far from the zone out game I initially planned for it to be. Ended up downloading Mudrunner Expeditions too and have been playing that instead so haven't got much further on Star Trucker to see if it eases up once you can make some upgrades and stuff.

Started playing hades! After hearing so much about it, and with the sequel coming along nicely, thought I’d finally get it off my wish list and finally onto the hdd
Am enjoying it. Currently loving shield. Haven’t escaped the training/prologue area as yet. But am slowly figuring out game mechanics and what all the icons that determine in game decisions are.
That one more run before bed is strong with this one..Edit: realising as I write this how behind the rest of the gaming universe I am..

Astro Bot is an absolute delight. Genuinely up there with Mario 3D games.
Colorful, fun, lots of secrets to uncover, loads of PlayStation nostalgia.
10/10. Anyone who owns a PS5 should buy it yesterday.

I fancy a steam deck, anyone thinking of selling?
I don't really understand why second hand prices are barely below new price especially when there's so many for sale -

Just finished Dungeons of Hinterberg, good fun, worth a bash.

I totally recommend one! OLED version, biggest storage. Get it. I got oled and stoke by it BUT I regret the smaller size.
The reason why you can't is because it's so awesome, noone wants to shift them.

Pretty stoked Power Stone is coming out on the switch, loved that game, always seemed perfect for the switch.

Strange and maybe thrown back to when they were impossible to get. Cashies and CEX never realised the prices came down when OLED got released.
I got the last of the old etched screen with the biggest storage when they were on offer. Chucked a huge micro SD in it and I’ve been happy.
Would recommend storage over screen, just because mine lives docked 80% of the time so the 20% in-hand I’ll deal with the ‘shit’ screen.

A rather expensive PS5 Pro (£699) has also broken cover.

• #29567
I haven’t played it since earlier in the year. Expensive paperweight 😅

• #29568
They’re fucking high if they think these are flying off the shelves.
-
• #29569
Yes outrageous pricing, apparently it doesn't even have the disc drive or the vertical stand included haha.

I got the glow in the dark one. Shamed to say it’s a paperweight for me too. But that’s down to kid number two arriving last year and a really busy period of work this past 6 months. Before that it was getting a lot of use and I’m looking forward to firing it up again soon and getting stuck into Chrono Trigger

Are you tempted by the GBC colour editions they’ve got coming out? I saw the aluminium ones which didn’t seem to sell out instantly like all the other special editions
-
• #29572
Yes, got the mailer and that piqued my interest again. Although I also wonder how much use I'd get out of it, my kids are slightly older and I'm forever running them out and back to various clubs/friends/school. :-)

I kept mine at my office over winter and would just sneak 15 mins of Mario kart in during lunch. But I’m self employed and work on my own so don’t have to worry about looking like a man child in front of junior colleagues haha

• #29574
But it’s had no use over summer as I’d rather be eating outside or sneaking in a jar in the pub next door than being inside any more than I have to be

I reckon with my Retroid pocket I spent more time downloading ROMs and setting up software than I did playing it.
😂
