Honestly you could do worse than staying in the YHA at Castleton. You can get a private room with private bathroom. I believe they also have private glamping pods that depending on the time of year should be nice.

A friend has stayed here and said it was good.

There’s a new place called something like bike and boot leisure that you would assume has bike store and washing etc but I’ve never been. It’s on the road between Hathersage and Hope
