Worn consumables, tyres, chain, sprocket and chainring. Play in the bottom bracket and condition of threads (if you can make them out on the rear wheel). Rim wear, trueness of wheels (give them a spin)
Oh and whether it is road legal (fitted with a front brake) although many view this as optional

These are the bikes I'm looking at. Can anyone help me narrow these down? and I'll ensure I do the checks @EcuriePeril mentioned, after I research wtf they are lol.
The purple one is totally unbranded and has no real details attached to it, but is the cheapest, considering this will be my first fixie purchase.
'Specialized Langster': "Flip flop hub option for fixed gear. Halo Aerorage wheels Panracer gravel king 25mm tyres Flat bar Tiagra/tektro brakes. New brake blocks Slight tear in saddle shown. Perfectly rideable. Will come with original drop bars and brake levers. Pedals not included"
Fuji Feather 2021 "Ridden 3 times. Upgraded Armadillo Tyres. Interchangeable fixie/singlespeed"

the langster definitly would be a great city runner. but is not totally unstealable, if that is a concern.

Langster > Fuji > that purple monstrosity, would be my order of preference.

I like the Feather, solid bike and as mentioned slightly less thief attractive than the Langster

Purple monstrosity 😂
Thanks for feedback. So +2 for the Langster. I found a similar Langster that's a couple cm smaller, which I have discovered might actually be better for my size, and it actually comes with pedals. Downside is it appears to be freewheel... how much will it cost roughly to convert to fixed?
Details: Shimano 105 callipers and Cane Creek levers as well as brand new Specialized Roadsport tyres and bar tape.

I don't think the brown is smaller than the black one. Look how the top and down tube are spaced on the headtube.
( Never trust sellers with sizing accurately ), and i think the black is better specced anyway. -

Good spot. Thanks, I'm gonna go and get a feel for that one

Looking at the head tube junction, I think the black one is actually smaller - the top and down tube are basically touching, while on the red/brown one, there’s a couple cm gap.

@Glws the size was perfect! (the dark green/brown wheel Langster, you were right) and it's now in my possession. Thanks man and thanks everyone for your help. If you guys are in London and you want a round of drinks its on me lol
Now to get the flip flop hub switched to fixed (and maybe switch to this dropped bar which was included)!

Well done and welcome to the world of fixed. There isn't many of us left!
Looking to buy my first fixed bike, under £200, 52cm frame. Itll be for commuting and cruisin around London. Ill join my local crew if I take a liking to it. Anyone selling? Any tips of what to look out for?
I found one on ebay, not sure if admin will be happy with me posting links, but indicators whether it's a good find or not would be awesome.
