As @Tenderloin has pointed out I will preface by saying I probably don't have as developed a palate as everyone else here and so couldn't detect too much of a difference from the Niche when I had it for a spell, but I do value ease of workflow (grind, tap once or twice to level, tamp, go) of the Sette and the flavours I can get from it are very satisfactory. One point to note is that it is very fast (<7seconds for 18g) but it is also very loud (no conversation can be had during those 7 seconds) so if you have people at home who need to sleep through the mornings that may be a factor to consider.
@Dammit people are generally affluent over there, particularly those buying this sort of equipment (both coffee and bikes!), and importers understand their target market.
