Wallapop

Seeing as kids are just small grownups, they need lighter spring rates and a lighter spring rate needs less rebound damping - so you could probably speed it up a bit.
Compression wise, I'd leave it in the middle and watch how they're riding; if it's diving too much under braking, more damping. If they're getting battered about on the rough section, less damping. -

Thanks all, will do some searching.

Well Wallapop was a great success, I found exactly what I was looking for last night, took the bus into Alicante this morning and rode home 30 km on the back roads, bike paths and the national park. Did the deal for €500.
Will put some pics on the weekend ride thread this evening if I get a chance.
Thanks again.

I did the brother cycles big un from faversham this weekend. It was a great event and the route was a corker too. At 11something km it was a full day out so probably won't have the time of day to ride the whole thing until the summer is properly back again but I'll book in for next year's iteration for sure.
Might write a blog up at some point.

There are also lots of ways to ride chunks of that route/area separately; Canterbury clockwise around to Wye and back up north is a nice... 50k, Faversham-Cantebury before that through all the woods adds on another 20km. The full route doesn't mess around either, it's a big day out and in rough conditions - see last year - it's... a lot. (Thought I recognised the Bizango in a friend's photo. I wasn't there this year, don't have the legs right now.)

Yeah I was tempted to get the train from Canterbury to faversham just because the last 10% of any ride tends to drag, but I'm glad I didn't, it was a nice little leg.

not sure if people have seen the new ‘Anytime’ movie on Redbull TV? some amazing bits, big step forwards in terms of representing more women within that particular franchise; significantly weird macho hysteria at the end though, with Brage admittedly pushing the limits of mountain biking

The trailer looks interesting. Just wish they'd host their stuff on youtube like everyone else.

super weird arrangement of where is my mind, quite like that

Yeah, me too. Which is why it's just appeared in the Listening thread :)

Wow, it's slick!
Some mad shit in it. Makes me wish I could ride MTBs properly (but I don't have enough bones to spare) :)

pretty full on huh? i think it must be quite hard to make the stuff at the end look as nuts as it actually is but there were bits that were vertigo inducing.
edit : i also loved the crash where she bent the chain ring, she managed to stay so cool even though it was going so wrong on such a huge feature -

Yeah, often you lose the sense of steepness and speed but with the drone shots pulling back at the end of some of the runs you could see how steep it was as they shot towards the cars.
The Cali section of dirt jumps was just beautiful too and the slow mo of the woman crashing in that soft (was it volcanic?) dirt was pretty mad (as was the dude's crash - felt that).

Brage
Hoping he bounces back from surgery. Surprised he even gets injured tbh, I always assumed when he crashes it's the ground that gets hurt

Does anyone want or need any Zeb air springs? I seem to have at least 3 of varying lengths that I don't need anymore. Definitely got a 180mm, 160mm, and one other (not sure what it is, but similar lengths I'd imagine)
They're all the C1 version, without buttercups£15 each collected from SE9 or £20 posted.

That last Chile descent in Anytime had me shrinking back into the sofa. Fucking terrifying.

I never knew you could have so much fun in Epping Forest. Why did I waste all these years on a road bike? The trails by Claypit hill are awesome.

I had to resist the urge to shout "ditch the tarmac and get a stumpy" at the rapha-mamils riding past the tea hut.

And the gravelleurs edging away and never getting the full experience
I also rode an MtB yesterday and was terrified in a fun way.
Crap photo of a bin..

I would look for something secondhand off eBay or pinkbike. There are a lot of bargains out there for high spec bikes.
