Experienced the misery of the double puncture on my ride to Folkestone this weekend. Compounded by discovering my knock-off pocket rocket pump wasn't really up to the task. Yet again, thankful for the kindness of strangers, in this case a couple of lads who had a spare tube and a decent pump, which meant I could at least get to the bike shop in Paddock Wood. Annoying as, up until that point, it had been a pleasant, largely traffic-free ride.
