Regular MTB/CX rides in Epping Forest

Got plenty of them since that's pretty much the only riding I do these days! The below is a recent good one.

As usual with the forest, having a route to follow is only part of the game, finding the correct trail entrance is the rest of it.. I bet that hasn't changed over the years ;)

mostly dry some boggy areas, all round fun

Anyone around of late? I've optimistically inflated my MTB's tyres and charged up the battery in my dropper post (what a time to be alive)

Ride in the forest 2-3 times a week, usually 6-8am, let me know if keen to join

Also, forest is drying up nicely after some pretty wet Feb/March.

Great photo. How icy is it in there? I need to go for a ride but wary of stacking it

Been pretty icy and generally all frozen but some deep puddles. It's less slidey than it would be had it not been frozen, just watch out for large wet patches turned into ice mirrors.

Ace thanks. Plan to go out tomorrow or Tuesday daytime. First non-commute ride of the year and I an unfit!

For anyone keen to get out there in a group at leisurely pace, have a look at All Terrain Social club on Instagram, they do weekly rides, good vibes.

If interested in going a notch higher in intensity, at ungodly hours, let me know.

It was quite sketchy on Saturday morning, but it has warmed up a bit since then, so you should be grand.
