Argon 18 Pro in VGC ON Marketplace
That's a pretty good deal. My Gallium Pro rim is the best bike I've ridden and still my primary ride.

Hey all! I'm selling a bunch of my cycling gear on eBay including my Liv race bike, shoes and turbo trainer. Open to offers!
Bike currently in for a service but ready on Sat and mechanic said it's in super condition. Will have new pics then. -

Haha. I know, I shouldn't be in here either.
Don't resist, go for it :)

I did not cos I have no immediate use for any of that stuff and no space either, but that didn’t prevent intense feelings of regret when I saw that it had sold!

Have a question regarding these Weigh 853 frames -- were they actually built by Donohue/ in the UK? This post says that they stopped using Donohue around '93 and no frames were built in UK after that. According to Reynolds they didn't even start making 853 until 1995, so along these timelines this bike doesn't really make sense.
Anyone else know anything about this / other weigh 853 frames?

Found some cheap ebay shifters I was keen on but went to check the sellers sold listings...

What are the chances that this isn't just a fence for cockpit thefts and I can buy with peace of mind?
-
• #68322
The fact they're only selling saddles, shifters and ebike batteries suggests a fence with a good camera if you ask me...
Citation: 3 years as a bike insurance claims handler when these were basically the only partial thefts (besides wheels) I'd see

A TOTAL fence!
They send stuff RM 1st (unsigned), so maybe you could say it never arrived ;-)

Inclined to agree with you, but how often do people leave Dura-Ace and cambium saddles out in the wild though? Not to mention a fair number of good conditioned B17s.. Seems like a very steady supply of premium components from their sold listings.

No real use for this at the moment, but it does rather nice!
Or the electric bike that doesn't have a charger or controller, that's inconvenient!
