I don't think Roglic is showing he's going to be up at the top tier level, he should be trouncing this lot and he's made a right meal out of it.
He fractured a vertebrae at the Tour, and his participation in the race was in doubt right up until the last moment, because he was still troubled by the pain. That he's going to win it shows the strength of his character.

The annoying thing about O'Connor is that he is clearly a diesel in the style of Brad Wiggins but he keeps chasing wheels when he needs to sit the fuck down and just ride his own climb. He blew after chasing Carapaz and dropping his teammate and then Carapaz was crawling at the finish anyway.
He needed to just chill with Skjelmose in the cool kid threshold riders club. -

Red Bull chef seems to have poisoned the team with a bit of salmonella, staffer in hospital and riders dnf-ing.

Did the same trying to chase Pog at the Giro.

How did Ineos miss out on this Dunbar guy? 😆 Looks like the kind of rider they need

When they were dominant, riders would leave and disappear without a trace. Now they leave, improve and start winning.

Roglic interview. Gold. What a guy.

Look like my fellow countrymen taking all three Tours this year, well by the looks of it could be by a single fellow countryman, should he chose to participate in Vuelta.

You can take the boy out of Movistar...

I know I should be out riding but watching the start of the Tour of Britain - quite exciting considering it’s a flat stage that Quickstep will pretty much manage for a sprint finish for their young lad Magnier …. shame the route doesn’t go through Dunwich while they are over that way …..

I rode over to Northampton to see it yesterday.
My speed down the hill at Holcot was similar to the KOM going up it.

Very enjoyable race over all , even today was all out attacking , a few cross winds making for an intriguing stage …. Remco with about a million attacks until Magnier was out ….. Conner Swift attacking almost as much …
Great win for Williams in the end ….. and great seeing Cav doing a few stage presentations - good lad. -

Really pleased that Ben O'Connor retained his second place at the Vuelta. I think he deserved that after the way he defended his lead.

Quebec - I like these French Canadian races ... good courses , climbs and the need to press all the way round the circuit
riders seem to enjoy them and take them seriously .... none of the end of term riding round because they’ve been ordered to ....
....and coverage from the gun ...! top Friday evenings entertainment ... oh , but ... first Kirby , and then “Jez “ Cox to spoil things .... bollox...
Hope Steve Williams can do well on this hill finish ... -

lets go with it .. for now
mainly to play on the theme that UAE without Pog is just Movistar.
To be fair to O'Connor he has shown more resilience than expected, he normally cracks but he hasn't (yet) he's just not as fast on the really steep bits.
I don't think Roglic is showing he's going to be up at the top tier level, he should be trouncing this lot and he's made a right meal out of it.
Big day today, hopefully there's another twist today, maybe a real long ranger...
