I have young kids though, so have a plentiful supply of washable PVA glue knocking around, which is probably the best thing for it.

I’ve learned the hard way that wood glue doesn’t work :-D

Thanks, did try basic wood glue (Lepages) years ago and was a bitch to remove, though luckily no damage done to the lp.
