Just bought a 4700 crank to replace my 6800 because that was the only 165mm crankset I could find under 100 quid. What I've read is that they are compatible, notwithstanding the 10/11 speed difference. I'm not quite understanding why there would be separate 10/11 speed chains if the width of the teeth is interchangeable - is the narrower chain necessary because of tighter cassette spacing on the 11s?
