I enjoy slow horses the show, and I really like the books.

I think they've miscast Shirley Dander in the last series, as much as I like the actress from Detectorists etc.

Yeah Dander is toned down a lot.
But then I always saw Lamb as looking like John Sargeant

I hope sooner or later they show just how messed up Dander actually is - probably the one character (based off what I've read so far) who isn't really reflected in the series
