  • I would agree, in my architect opinion, 1 k per sqm is even cheap. get some reliable contractors in and as Mr Smyth's said, it would go boom .
    the asking price is quite "low" for the location, and that tells you that .

  • I reckon that if you could stomach it, probably wouldn't be a terrible investment but not sure you'd see much of a return

  • you would have to really want it, in the sense of caring for restoring/upgrading this or a similar house, or really wanting to live there. As you say it's not a case study for the property game.
