Hi, back on the 18650 cell with a lead, LTG18650
How do I tell which connector I have and need?
This supplier has a wide selection:
https://battery101.co.uk/collections/18650-li-ion?srsltid=AfmBOooCC9VOK7EzkN_qhHUU4q_9jWVIgBbhyooG5b9uCjg8MdUfmz07Or, is it easy to remove the individual cables from this connector,
and insert/crimp in the lead from the replacement battery?

That looks to be one of these, but reversed polarity:

That's very good of you.

I have had a wald 257 mounted to QR axles for 5 or so years with no issue. But then I might just be lucky. I use pinhead skewer not QR releases too.

Thanks, going to replace the axle for him. I don't want to be responsible for him landing on his face.

Most of us can land on our faces without outside help, landing in the faeces can also be achieved.

If it has to be, hopefully Small Faeces, much preferred.

Named after 'Itchycoo Park' a well-known pile of shit.

I dunno, small ones are usually disproportionately stinky (eg fox) whereas large ones are quite mild (eg cow). If we're talking same stinkiness then sure, go for small.

And try to cycle a bit closer to cows, softer landing

Avoid Cowes at all costs, it's a regatta full of shits.

Is there a thread for geometry and handling related questions?

I'd like to take an existing model car part made from glass reinforced plastic and have copies made from aluminium.
Can anyone briefly outline how I could achieve this? I have literally zero experience in this area but it's worth a few £ to me to get it done.

Two steps I'd imagine
- Get the part modelled in 3d
- Get a machine shop to CNC machine it from the 3d model.
There will be companies that specialise in prototyping parts who will be able to do both steps I'm sure.
- Get the part modelled in 3d

Have now had an email conversation with the guy behind this store front.
Order has been placed for a 'Reversed Polarity Required' version. Thanks for your help.
Note to self, bookmark this store for future use. -

If you can get the part modelled (someone on here might know about that), then these folks https://www.pcbway.com/ have cropped up on some youtube videos where makers have used them for prototypes.

Later iphones I believe have a lidar scanner that might work with an app to create the CAD file

I'm in the process of remortgaging and Halifax are telling my broker they can't access my credit report. Apparently it's got a 'notice of correction' on it and is password encrypted.
Initially was told this was Experian, but I spoke to them yesterday (which required creating an account and signing up for a trial of their subscription service) and they couldn't see any issues.
Now apparently have to go through the above with TransUnion and Equifax although neither of their websites show any indication that talking to someone is even possible.
Anyone know WTF is going on?

My first guess would be that Halifax are idiots and that the problem is in their internal systems.
Credit bureaux are in the business of selling credit reports to lenders, not making them mysteriously inaccessible.
BTW you can see your TransUnion report for free on CreditKarma.
Can anyone help me find a spare part for this?

In the freezer compartment, there is a glass shelf between the freezer drawers which just exploded into a billion pieces…
