Another option for your waterproof bag; I have seen the odd ones around, but not Brompton specific.

I've got an UPSO ferrybridge - it's properly waterproof. It's quite a heavy bag and is more useful after modding ortlieb pouch/water bottle holders on the back but is good for rainy commutes.
IMHO old tbags are the best tho, use a rain cover.
