Thou shalt not put musicians and recording artists on ridiculous pedestals no matter how great they are or were.

I think it was what earthlings call “fun”.
Not everyone was wanking themselves over “seggs wiv da machine”.It was a way to play lots of records from lots of places to a messy crowd.

“So I’ve arranged everything in order of the Detroit timeline up until the release of that panic in Detroit album. After that then start to classify things based on the ratio of 909:303”
“Yeah that’s great mate can I just use this daft punk record to skin up on?” -

I'll be honest I hadnt heard about Oasis till they announced this tour.
I had heard Wonderwall in shopping malls etc but never really wanted to find out "omg who is this band?!"
Is it like Country Music for people from Manchester?

AKSHUALLY... BSP dropped the "British" from their name due to the nationalist connotation, they're just called Sea Power now.

If this is true, you’re even luckier than you know.

insert politically correct term for what we used to call Asperger's
'Autism Spectrum Disorder'
characterised by an inability to mindlessly buy into the mutual delusion which facilitates neurotypical social interactions
Yes & No. My experience is that I can get swept along with things like this, but quickly move on, but more often than not will avoid them in the hype window then discover a few years later and either realise I missed nowt, or realise I missed out*.
Thankfully, despite living in Coventry for many years, I never got The Enemy so that scathing review mentioned earlier is very validating. I have similar with the band Elbow, however appreciate Guy Garvey's general love of music which comes across in his radio show.
'*For example: I'm currently working through all the Marvel films having missed most of them for no particular reason to date. This is helped by my daughter wanting to watch them so it is good together time.

This is brilliant.
Aside from being completely unnecessary, is that even a rational thought? Isn't [insert politically correct term for what we used to call Asperger's] characterised by an inability to mindlessly buy into the mutual delusion which facilitates neurotypical social interactions?
