• Can anyone recommend a handlebar mount for this light?

I’m trying to make a budget Fenix BC26R, which is probably a false economy.

  • It's <4mm wider than the Lumintop B01, so might fit the mount which comes with that light. I've got a couple of B01s and the mount is great (thou may not look it online).

Alternatively, if you don't need the 1600lm of the Fenix, then buy a Lumintop B01 (900lm).

  • I have a B01, which I was planning to use as a helmet light with the GT Mini on the bars. So I could reuse the B01 mount.

It’s just I like to have neat bars, so was hoping to mount it under a computer or with something like the Exposure system.

The B01 is fine in one of these, but the GT Mini is too heavy.

  • Thanks, foot’s bleeding.

Put the GT Mini in the B01 mount and waved it about. Fell out and skinned my toe.

  • Quick update on the fake PCW. Have done a few training rides and a race on it without issue. Mate owns an actual Princeton and is going into a wind tunnel at some point so might ask him if time to see how they test head to head...

  • Sorry! I did say 'might'.

What's the GT Mini like compared to the B01?

  • Hah, no blame attributed.

It’s bigger, heavier, so I hope twice as bright as the lumens suggest. Doesn’t have the clipped lens top and bottom, which would be better for cycling use.

It has a magnetic base, which is adding unnecessary weight for cycling.

    I just want a B02, really.

Build quality of both is very good.

  • I have gone for a pair of CSC wheels. I'll report back in a few weeks (months? from beyond the grave?) time

  • What’s your ouija handle?

  • Knock three times with your teeth.

  • Bought some BIKEDOC aero bars from AliExpress on August 31st, they arrived in the UK on September 2nd. Evri misplaced them so they only came today, but still very quick!

These are 36cm c-c and 42 in the drops, almost wish I’d gone for 34cm at the top as an experiment but will mount these and see.

Quality looks pretty good, a bit of a squarer shape than the Aerofly II I have now. Going on a fully mechanical bike so we’ll see how routing is this weekend.

Don't say that, I'd just about convinced myself that there was no point ordering some because they couldn't possibly arrive in time for my next race on the 22nd🙂

  • From the reviews I’ve seen, a lot of people are getting them very quickly. I was surprised to see they’d arrived in the country so quickly, so might be worth a shot!

  • Aliexpress shipping has become insanely fast

  • They have their own flight to Europe now.

  • I am looking for an integrated handlebar that will be fully integrated with Madone gen 6. I have an option to go with Bontrager one (around £650 total), but I am looking if there are other cheaper alternatives. All the Western brands I have seen (e.g., specialized) will not offer conversion stem caps so it won't be fully integrated, but the ones from China do. Does anyone have experience or recommendations? Does the Farsports F1s model (notably used by the gold medallist in 2020!) also require a dentist bill to be added to the cost?

  • Farsports F1 is probably the most recommended option. Also The One Pro bar, or Avian Canary get good rep! Not sure about conversion caps. Never used any of them as they wouldn’t suit my bike, but always been interested

  • Avian Falcon came with a 3d printed spacer to sit between my Cervelo's top cap and the bars. Less colour difference IRL. Was just over £200 all in from Panda Podium.

  • Anyone tried the EXS handlebars?

  • One pro integrated is good. Had one on my road bike for over a year and it’s been comfortable enough and stiff enough for long days/sprints. Big fan.

  • Anyone tried the EXS handlebars?

The R175 have (nearly) the exact gemoetry I'm after, interested too..

  • looks very smart

  • The reach at 70mm is too short imo. Not enough platform to support the aero hoods position comfortably.

  • I only ride 70mm reach handlebars so that's not really an issue. Currently been riding Zipp Service Course 70 Ergo ones for years
