She was absolutely lovely, I only met her a couple of times but she was really close with a few people I know. Such a fucking shame.

On the Sergio Mendes kick, I really got into his stuff in the mid 90s with the funk/easy listening/soul club thing that was going on.

His arrangements were the opposite of the music I normally listened to and played. It really gave a bit of balance to my headspace.
