Is the fork included with the dale?
-
• #4
FYI I am keeping the forks, folks.
-
• #5
Hey Josh, you interested in parting with those Brick Lane Bars also?
-
• #6
I would be interested in the Saracen forks if it helps?
-
• #7
Bars are staying.
Forks are being sold with the marin frame unless someone just wants the original marin frame and fork on their own.

Love the Caad x build ! Thinking of doing a similar build myself and been wondering what brand the mini v brakes and the bars are?
-
• #14
Brakes are TRP cx9's and bars are FSA gravel bars 44cm, hand polished etc. So

Awesome, many thanks!

• #16
hey im a bit clueless when it comes to mtb sizing, generally what height would the frame be appropriate for? thanks
-
• #17
Both myself (6ft1) and my partner (5ft7) can both ride a 20" marin bear valley with different seat heights...
-
• #18
ok great!! I'm 6ft so should suit fine. are they quite heavy frames? I feel like I read about them being very heavy somewhere but I may be mistaken.
thanks

Hi Josh, in case @Pensprite has a change of heart, I'd be very keen (F&F). Thanks. Will DM in an hour or so
-
• #20
to add does the saracen come w the bb also? vvvv keen to take the frame + both sets of forks but curious about the weight
-
• #21
It may come with a bb yes, need to see if this is in good condition first.
Regarding weight, I have never found them to be heavy. Forks are rather light, frame is reasonable for a triple butted tange tubing bike.
If you're not racing I wouldn't worry too much, I've had many many good times on my various Marins :)
-
• #22
ok im v interested. can you let me know re the bb? much better if you can supply with and it runs somewhat ok as I dont have a tool!
im in london so would have to do postage -
• #23
Great stuff.
I'll drop you a pm later on this evening.
-
• #24
Any chance you would sell the Saracen max segmented forks separately?
-
• #25
I would yes. You are 2nd in line for these as someone expressed interest before you. I will let you know the outcome.
Hey folks.
Selling up some stuff to fund another project... (an actual mtb)
Frame 1: Marin Bear Valley with Saracen max segmented forks + original forks. 20" frame. 1 1/8th.
£100 + 10 posted.
Frame 2: Cannondale Caadx frame 56cm + headset + seat collar + fsa bb30 to bsa adapter.
Was NOS when I bought it. Probably covered 1000km on it? Been sanded and polished by me and is a bloody lovely frame. Lightweight and has room for fat tyres, 42c easy!
£100 plus 10 postage.
Or pick up from Warwick.
