Picked up on PS5, not sure if its me but the bosses are insanely hard, and the grind to upgrade its tiresome.

So glad it turned out good! Early vids were promising and it’s been on my radar ever since.

Reviews of Star Wars Outlaws are predictably mediocre.
Thought I'd be up for it regardless but very much on the fence now. The open-world exploration appeals very much, but it sounds like there's an awful lot wrong with the gameplay.

The trailer makes it look like a game released in 2014, low detail and jerky animation.

It'll be on game pass, just subscribe for a month

Haven't played it yet but bought it on launch day. Massive Tom Francis fanboy here, so happy to hear that it's actually good!

Its not on GamePass. The new Indiana Jones game is however.

Not at launch but give it like 2 months and it will be

Good shout seeing as I have a sub already. With any luck they might have fixed some of the issues by the time it shows up.

So, just started Outlaws. I'm enjoying it so far, about an hour in. It's fun. The story is good and it feels Star Warsy.

This is what I want to hear.

The downside is that since i posted that, I've crashed to desktop 3 times now. Not sure why yet.
Edit: school boy error. Hadn't updated GPU drivers. Seems ok now.

Definitely don't watch this then.

Completed Prince of Persia:Lost Crown and really enjoyed it, clocked in 30 hours on it. I have to admit I got bored off the tough boss battles, so lowered the difficulty on them to the easiest so I could get past them easily.
Bit lost now on what to play, I re-downloaded Star Wars: Battlefront 2 as I never completed the single player. Also started Titanfall 2 single player again, which I've completed twice.
Need to try find a new single player game, but nothing really appeals at the moment.

Am playing Black Myth: Wukong but did in the end have to resort to using WeMod to change the difficulty. I really thought it would be more like GoW from the reviews, but honestly it's a Souls Lite type game.
it's weird, the standard mobs are soooo easy, then you get to the air boss and get hammered. I feel it's really unbalanced, and I still don't get companies not putting in difficulty/accessability options.

I really appreciated the ability on PoP:Lost Crown to change difficulty whilst playing and to also have portals if needed to skip the tough platforming sections.
I remember giving up on Metroid dread as it was so difficult, then coming back to it a few years later and restarting the game as they had to introduce any easier mode. Still haven’t completed it as I got stuck on a tough boss, feel like I need to complete it but can’t remember what the controls are etc.

Not everyones cup of tea, but have you played Prey? (The space one). Really good single player story game. It's probably one of my faves of all time.
The other ones I always say are Alan Wake 1/2 and Control.

I've done first mission and really liking it.
The character control is really good, sounds odd, but the way they move and respond is nice, and feels weighty.

Vampire Survivors is good fun.
£4 on PSN and I can see me losing many, many hours on "one more run"
Tactical Breach Wizards
Xcom type but tighter gameplay, smaller maps, almost puzzle like. Infinite rewind so more about picking the right movement combinations, similar to Into the Breach in that respect. Humour is spot on too.
5/7, almost perfect
