Moderate Days in the Autumn (pre-HDIJ fixie rides)

It's pissing down a mile from Elmers End.

OK phew! (kinda)

Managed to squeeze in December's yesterday. Moderately hard, even though it was the more reasonable version apparently (thanks YAL, quality as always). Was as Decembery as it gets, just the gloomiest of grey windy days. But dry at least.
Bring on January, only 3 weeks away!

I always go down Tandridge Lane when I'm out that way.

Might be jumping the gun a bit but very up for getting some dates down to try and keep some days free for this years rides!

@youramericanlover, et al. any chance you have some dates in mind? Happy to throw some out there for Oct/Nov/Dec, can also help sort routes etc as well

With YAL's blessing, we have some dates for Moderate Days this year:

19th October
9th November
7th December

Tentative plan is to work distance up over these dates, something like 70kms > 95kms > 120kms.
Fresh post for 2024 rides and routes to come in due course.

Yes! Well done @ElGonzo and @WhitleyJay - autumn seems to the craziest time of year for me and this one is shaping up no different. Some autumn fixie rides to get people thinkin bout January and fixies is great but sadly are tricky for me to make. Will see what I can do but some local leaders are most welcome. Those dates look ace.

HDIJ will be some kind of hopefully flat flowly affair compared to the last edition's winchfest.

I am confuse. The distance increments don't bring it up to 200km for xHDIJx
