It’s really unsatisfying compared to pouring water onto the grounds but does annoyingly work

I was doing grounds first when I initially got my CD, it would take an eternity to draw down and the brew was a bit muddy as a consequence. Fortunately The Hoff shared his* method a few short weeks later and that solved everything.

* Tho' I seem to recall he got the tip from somewhere else.
