@Dramatic_Hammer same - looking for advice on largeish desktop laser cutters, and found this thread …anyone give insight if the convenience of a Glowforge is worth it over value of an Ali-Express? What power is worth investing in for say 5mm ply?
I’ve got relatively proficient on vinyl cutting machine & software, and I presume this is relatively straight-forward to transfer, so perhaps the interface/convenience that you pay for on a Glowforge isn’t as relevant. Any advice gratefully received - esp what to avoid!
